Lynn has approximately 20 years of counselling experience working with couples and individuals aged 14 and older with mental health issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma and grief.

Lynn also has extensive experience working with individuals who are off work due to mental and/ or physical health issues, providing pain management counselling, education on coping and pacing strategies, and return-to-work transition coaching to encourage success in the workplace.

She uses a client-centred counselling approach tailored to the individual. She frequently employs a cognitive behavioural model, along with additional therapeutic strategies and tools to help clients address issues and overcome the challenges they are facing.

Lynn is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is also a registered member of the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists and a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals.
