Jenna has extensive experience with diverse populations including children, adolescents and adults of varying cultural backgrounds and identities who have been affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, chronic pain/health conditions, grief and addictions, as well as cognitive, emotional and physical disabilities or injuries.

She uses her background in rehabilitation to help clients with returning to work/school transitions, pacing strategies and accommodation planning. She employs an integrative approach that allows for the flexibility to use various approaches to best serve the client and their unique characteristics and preferences.

Jenna works with all ages, specializing in clients aged 10 and up. She grounds her theory in a client-centred approach, with influences from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy and a strong focus on self-compassion.

Jenna received her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from York University in Toronto while concurrently receiving a diploma in Rehabilitation Services from Seneca College, also in Toronto. She then received her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in Fredericton.

Jenna is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT).

From time to time, she may discuss aspects of his clients’ sessions with her supervisor to support their progress. Jenna is currently a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (License RCT-C23-070) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapist and she adheres to the Code and Ethics and Standard of Practice required by this association.
